Develops relationships within hotel owners/agents to strengthen and expand products/customer base for sales opportunities
Partners with hotels/clients counterpart to effectively manage the business opportunity
Identifies, qualifies and solicits new booking/tour business to achieve revenue goals
Uses negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
Makes hotel room reservations within United States for the clients from worldwide
Maximizes revenue by strategically arranging travel group allotment
Understands the overall market - competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them
Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings
Serves the customer by understanding their needs and recommending the appropriate features and services that best meet their needs and exceed their expectations
Develops effective hotel booking/tour sales plans and actions
Maintains the online hotel reservation system and accounting system daily: makes record updates required by Operations, backups database, monitors system running states, cleans recycle bin, and so on
Makes changes to existing operation functions of the online systems once necessary. Develops and adds new operation functions for the online system. Needs to know web design skills, web development technologies including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Elixir, Postgres, maps and so on, and website deployment professionally
Provides technical supports for all computing devices
Helps Operation and Accounting employees to use the online system efficiently and smoothly
